YMCA-Macedonia, as part of the FGYO SEE network attended the seminar in Sarajevo, held with and overall objective to improve the regional cooperation in South East Europe on projects regarding the youth. The OFAJ (FGYO – French-German Youth Office) is an organization developed as a product of the development of the French-German friendship after the World War II. Its network of SEE organizations includes 20 organizations from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, and UNMIK Kosovo. On the seminar in Sarajevo, the  possibilities for a stronger cross-border and regional cooperation were developed and the basis for a Balkan Youth Office were set, a YMCA’s intiative, which would include four regional countries on the first phase of the implementation, with the support of the French and German partners.
